Jadarian Price Out for Seahawks vs Los Angeles Chargers

The Seattle Seahawks announced that running back Jadarian Price will miss the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The rookie, who was injured in Week 2 and then aggravated the injury during a recent practice, is sidelined due to a chest injury, as confirmed by Coach Mike Macdonald.

Price’s absence is significant as he has been a starting figure in the Seahawks lineup for the first three games of the season. He has completed 119 rushing yards on 28 attempts and added 21 receiving yards on four catches. His injury and recovery time remain uncertain, with Macdonald highlighting that “He’s going to play great football for us when he comes back, whenever that is…”

The Seahawks will need to adjust their game plan against the Chargers. Without Price, backup players Emanuel Wilson and George Holani will likely see increased action. Wilson and Holani have accumulated 109 and 102 scrimmage yards respectively so far this season. Coach Macdonald expressed confidence in these players, stating, “We’ve got guys that are ready to go behind him that are preparing their tails off and are good players. We feel like we have a good plan and we’ll go play a game.”
